I was going to show you the next picture in Parque Forestal where I parked myself after the cafe, but it's too dark. This one is Wednesday at Cerro Santa Lucia, where I walked around a bit and found a place to sit and write/read again, make a phone call to Paulina, etc. - after...making my way back to the museum when it was in fact open - yea! - and it was worth going back to, I think. Somehow I don't have good luck in making it to museums when their gift shops are open, though. Anyway - this is my view from another bench that looks like the one in the pic. After spending some time here, I made my way to the Florida Center Mall to seek 1)notecards, 2) gift-y things for people here, 3)if I had time, some school supplies and clothes for me. I had some success, and more than that, discovered a Subway in their food court - and got my usual tuna sandwich! Yea for big corporations keeping their products so standard from one place to another! Differences noted: avocado was available, the drink was smaller and without ice, the cookies (although I didn't have any - yea for ice cream stands everywhere! and the flavor pistacho!) are smaller, and the potato chips are either Lay's American-cut, or their Mediterranean line of flavors. I'm wondering - has anyone encountered this line of potato chips in the U.S. or in any other countries - Spain, perhaps?
