Just wanted to let you all know that, at least for now, the internet cafe i'm going to just has msn messenger - no aol - so if you want to talk to me via im, put me on your msn list - and if you don't have msn messenger, think about putting it on your computer.

Also - I just got an e-mail from my mom about the viejos verdes thing, and she of course gave me some good insight and such - common sense stuff for dealing with life - yea for those beer store days, Mom! I just wanted to say that I realize that I go on way too long about things, so sorry to everyone who reads this when I give topics more time than they deserve - but if you've ever had much e-mail correspondence, or really any correspondence at all - face-to-face, or whatever, you know that my thoughts spill out on to the page pretty easily and without filter, so you're going to get mixed-up, over-analyzed stuff when you have contact with me.

Today, I started class - Folklore dances, and Manifestations of Utopia in Art/Poetry. Cool stuff. I'm still debating about whether to drop the dance, and maybe the poetry as well, so i can have a longer weekend to travel. The dance class was very fun, and I think it might be an easier class to make friends in, since you interact a little more and it's so long - it's a pretty campus, too - but it's kind of far for me, and it might be nice to have Monday mornings free. The utopias class seems super-interesting - I think it'll be pretty hard, though - quite a bit of reading, and authors that I've never read and certainly not in Spanish, and many I've not ever heard of. It's in the art department, which seems like a fun place to be - physically, it's close to my house, and the professor and his assistent seem very nice, etc. - it's still an art department, though, so they're pretty loopy/disorganized, though, of course - there was a mix-up in the time we were supposed to meet. If only the amount that showed up today are the ones in the class, it'll be pretty one-on-one attention, though, so that'll be nice, I think.

Ok - I really better go - super-late to be having "once", at least for me.
