I feel like I've entered a new phase of life, as of my hair reaching its all-time shortest length since I was 3 (and was then just starting to grow a substantial head of hair - yes, that's right - I had no hair till I was 3 - laugh all you want, I was a cute bald baby). The past nearly 2 years of cutting my own hair has pushed the length of my hair gradually shorter and shorter, and it's finally culminated in a shaping up of my hair by a professional, and me coming to terms with its length.
I can't decide whether the new style is sophisticated fun, or just a plain old-fashioned grandma look - or something else. After Katie telling me at the end of last year that she originally thought I was "older" from my picture, and now feeling like this is somewhat an even "older" look (Dr. Arms told me in August even that he liked my "more sophisticated" haircut since leaving Hendrix, and just a couple days ago, a good friend of mine who used to be my piano teacher confirmed my own opinion that I'm looking more like my mom these days), I just hope I'm not pushing myself into too "mature" a look.
End of vain posting about hair.
