Finally, another post - don't know how I every kept up with this thing before - maybe because I had super amounts of free time, and internet in my house, in Santiago. Anyway - a quick rundown of things that have happened lately.
One super-exciting thing that happened last weekend that I wrote down to remind myself to tell y'all (on a post-it note of course) is....that I got to ride up front in one of the micros (buses). I had just been thinking to myself a few days before that I was going to have to ask at some point if I could ride up front, because it looked really fun. Rebecca and I were going back to ViƱa after exploring Valpo. with Nate and getting the keys from Oscar for the parcela, and the super-nice, professional-looking chofer (driver) suggested we have the 2 up-front seats - a dream come true, and surely not as cold as the back part (I'd left my jacket at Nate's hostel, stupidly enough). There's not too much to say about it, but it was just super-exciting. Oh, and he let us off exactly where we needed - or as close as any micro has ever let either one of us off on that route.
Ok - gotta go - my list keeps piling up of experiences to fill you in on, and I think I told y'all I figured out a way to post pictures without hooking my computer up, but just haven't done it yet. Rebecca and I are celebrating being alive by going to Bravissimo for ice cream. (The being alive story will have to be for later - yesterday, we went hiking and had to be searched for by the park guards.)
