The other day I went back to Santiago Centro. I didn't take many pictures, but this was one that I actually took. This is a fountain (not actually squirting water at the moment, but a fountain nonetheless) in the inner courtyard of the Iglesia San Francisco - there's a big garden area that's very peaceful. My guidebook said that one of the notable things about Iglesia San Francisco is the hushed silence that you experience there amongst the rest of the hubbub of the city center that you experience all around it.
